Privacy Policy

Menopause Intelligence is developed by RT Sullivan Consulting Ltd, United Kingdom.

This policy explains how Menopause Intelligence handles your data. The short version: your health data never leaves your device.

What data the app uses

With your explicit permission, the app reads the following data from Apple HealthKit:

• Basal body temperature
• Heart rate variability (HRV)
• Resting heart rate
• Sleep analysis (duration and sleep stages)
• Step count and active energy burned

You may also enter symptoms manually within the app — hot flashes, brain fog, fatigue, mood disturbances, and others — along with optional notes and cycle status.

Where your data goes

Nowhere. All of the above stays on your iPhone and, where you have iCloud enabled, in your private iCloud account. Specifically:

• No data is sent to our servers — because we don't have any.
• No analytics platforms are embedded in the app. We do not use Firebase, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or any equivalent service.
• No advertising networks receive any information about you.
• No third parties of any kind receive your health data.

HealthKit data is governed by Apple's own privacy protections in addition to ours. We do not share HealthKit data with third parties, and we do not use it for advertising or data-brokering purposes.

The AI prediction engine

The AI in Menopause Intelligence is trained and runs entirely on your device using Apple's on-device machine learning framework (Core ML and Create ML Components). This is a deliberate architectural choice.

• Your personal AI model is built from your data, on your iPhone, and never uploaded anywhere.
• The model retrains silently each week as your data accumulates — again, entirely on-device.
• There is no "central model" that learns from multiple users. Your AI is yours alone.

The only way someone could access your prediction model is if they had physical access to your unlocked iPhone — the same level of protection as your photos, messages, and banking app.

iCloud sync

If you have iCloud enabled, your symptom logs and daily records are synced via CloudKit to your private iCloud account. This sync is end-to-end encrypted and accessible only to you. Apple cannot read this data. We cannot read this data.

You can disable iCloud sync in your iPhone Settings at any time.

Apple Watch and widget

The Apple Watch companion app and the home screen widget read from the same on-device data store. No additional data is collected or transmitted by either.

Subscription and payments

Premium subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. RT Sullivan Consulting Ltd does not receive or store your payment details. Subscription management is handled via your Apple ID.

Children

Menopause Intelligence is designed for adults aged 40 and over and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the date at the top of this document and note the change in the App Store release notes. We will not introduce data collection practices without updating this policy.
